The Work

The Work ·
We’ve imagined a future when freedoms, rights, and lasting improvements are manifest. This future will be possible when Black voters show up consistently, regardless of election cycle dynamics. Our goal is simple, to activate more Black voters through the power of your audience without impacting your vibe or your bottom line.
We are striving for 100% Black voter turnout.
To achieve this, AAV has conducted thousands of voter turnout experiments in order to learn what does and doesn’t work. There is no ego here. Some ideas need to be refined. Some need to be abandoned. Some new ideas need nurturing. What worked yesterday may not work tomorrow, but how will we know if we don’t test and learn? For this reason, we share our findings broadly and openly, and our learning agenda remains dynamic.
OUR PROGRAMS
Turn Up, Turn Out
In 2024, our Turn Up, Turn Out! program achieved 190,720 completed voter registration checks across MI, NC, PA, GA, and OH by organizing sweepstakes connected to concerts, festivals, and other cultural hubs within Black communities. It was all a dream - until we cracked the code and tapped into hyper-engaged, culture-shaping communities. By leveraging festivalgoers at Dreamville, where we conducted over 12,451 voter registration checks, The Shade Room’s massive audience, and the most in-demand concert of the year, Usher, TUTO proved the power of meeting people where they already show up.
Reversal of fortunes
It started in Southwest Philly, where All Americans Vote partnered with a local artist to create a mural inspiring the community to vote. What began as one project grew into something bigger. Reversal of Fortunes builds power where it’s needed most. We believe that by investing in local beautification projects, we’re not just improving neighborhoods. Murals and community projects celebrate the voices, culture, and dreams of the people who live there and push leaders to deliver for their communities. This is how we turn participation into power.
The Other Side of Sound
Through consistent and intentional interventions, The Other Side of Sound creates space to reframe music as a continuum. This movement presents a curated series of sound-forward experiences, each unique in form but unified in feeling. Envisioning this world beyond sound comes with questions as old as the human mind: “Where have we come from? Where are we going? What will guide us?” The Other Side of Sound explores art and entertainment as tools for impact.
